wordpress mu question
Hi,this may seem like a dumb question, but I was wondering is all wordpress themes compatible with MU, and if so, can I use different themes under one domain with different subdomains. Thanks for any response.

Yes, you can.
Yes, MOST themes are compatible. In theory, ALL themes should be compatible, but sometimes they have proprietory widgests and code snippets in that might just break, but it's just trial and error really, you should have good success in getting most to work  __________________

In general a large percentage of themes will work with mu.
You can use as many different themes as you want with mu, you could have 20 different subdomains under one domain and each have a different theme. __________________

It is very much trial and error - in theory they should all work - but in reality they dont.
I found four basic ones that I liked and just change around the CSS to change colors. One thing to remember -- if you hand edit a theme to match up to a specific subdomain save it as another name -because editing a theme for one edits for them all. |

the WP-MU site dose offer theme packs with 100+ themes that are known to work.

basically before you get a theme make sure it has widgets that way you can use different themes on all the blogs you make with wpmu. I have alot of themes that I use on my wpmu blogs that work fine, and have widgets
