What am i doing wrong?

hi, i've been working on my blog for some time, looks good, i post daily, the pr is high but still i see no traffic to it. is there something i'm doing wrong here, can someone tell me how the hell this thing works?
Appreciate any advice.

Have the blog in a subdomain, not a folder so blog.getlaidate.com, and also a better link from your front page may help too... (Dating blog, struck me as you were trying to tell people how your dating is going...)

EDIT: Target the market with more keywords, and also give it time. I see that it is less than a month old and the old saying of "Rome wasn't built in a day" springs to mind.

I'd go over and have a chat with them guys in the blogging forum, because they know more about this stuff than I do! (I'm not really one for the blogs!) But the online-webcams.com site seems to me to be a little wasted with a blog type site, anyway.

With what you were saying about high page rank and traffic ratios, do you understand how page rank works. It is nothing to do with traffic... You could have a PR of 10, but 0 traffic, have a look at this article on page rank, PageRank. Just because there is a high PR, doesn't mean to say that you will have high traffic.

Well, I don't see any trades or blog directories. You should submit it to blog directories and try to hook up some trades here.

I'm also not sure of the name of the site -- Get Laid Ate? Get Lai Date?

site is not ranked by google yet .. so it has no page rank aka 0.

also your first post is from 24 march ... not even a month old.
Just keep doing what you're doing .. for at least 2 to 6 more months .. before you will finall see some traffic comming from the SE's ..

You don't need to submit to search engines, it will do automaticaly. Just do some trades and wait some months for traffic

i started posting a month ago so you are prolly right, i'll keep posting till i'll see results

by the way, i'm trying to post daily, should i keep it up or do you think every 2-3 days is better?

Just setup some links Blog Submitter and the se's will find you and you should get a few hits here and there from that also.

Think most people here suggest you would make 1 post every 3 days .. and use the other days to post on your other blogs ;-)

I personally post once a day when I start a blog .. untill it's standing stable in the SE's .. then I just post when it seems like i'm dropping .. (but I don't have many blogs .. so dunno how good my methods are)
