Update or not to update
Hi there!
I got a blog, last time updated 2-3 weeks ago or so. I'm on pretty good positions for some terms, also making regular sales with the first post i got there. Now my question is, should i update which could possibly fuck up my SERP or leave it like this till it doesnt drops? I'm just afraid to update, because similiar thing happened to my shemale blog which went from 1k uniques/day to 50.. Thanks! __________________

That is a hard question.
When you don't update you risk that your blog will drop in the future, recovering from such a drop (caused by no updates on site) is more difficult compared to a drop because the content changed. I think this one is a case of strategy, if your in it for the long run: update. If you in need of $ and don't really care about the next month: don't update  __________________

Just as a technical question and ignore me if this is the stupidest idea ever. But could you maybe sticky your top post or even your first 10 posts etc? and then continue to update the blog so that the SERPS see activity?
Or even maybe just add posts with dates in the past so that your 15 current posts never change but your posts are still adding and pinging etc? __________________

Anyone know how Google consider that a page has updated. I mean : if I have a .php page that contain :
'A' fucking 'B' 'A' would be for example (change everyday) : Hot girl, Young teen, Slut,... 'B' : in the bathroom, a luck guy, a real bastard, ... So the sentence is different everyday, does Google consider the page updated daily ? |
