Handwritten Content - Do you only use once?

Ive been writing my own custom descriptions for my blogs. Decent amount of text too.

I have been thinking, if i ever wanted to re-use the text would this hurt my SEO? I mean, sponsors give out galleries with descriptions and there are probably thousands and thousands of sites with the same short text content.

I will be using Blogs Automater to do a little re-writing of the posts, change little words like brunette to brown hair, hot to smoking, etc

But i would like to re-use my handwritten stuff on 3-5 other Blogs the MOST.

Any ideas/advice would be great.

I would suggest you first use the same text on 2 blogs, then wait a long time and see how it effects your search engine traffic. If it doesn't have any effect use it on 3 blogs.
But i would suggest you don't use it too often. How much "too often" is depends on a lot of factors, so that one is a bit difficult to say in general.

I did it here and there, and results were great so far. I am now about to run a full scale experiment with reusing my own content several times over.

I highly doubt Google has such powers to track down every single word. Not till you use your RSS 100 times at leeast

So it is good to use same content on two different blogs with same niche? It is strange to me that G doesn't ban your site

I'm not a seo expert but it shouldn't hurt the first blog (no idea for the second). It not, it would be easy to make site with duplicate content from a competitor to hurt his seo.

change some words with synonimes and you will not get duplicated content

It for sure won't hurt the blog #1, but I'd still rewrite some content or mix up feeds so both blogs are not 100% identical.

Only as a mere example:
I have 2 gay blogs that are fairly similar, I make 3rd one, use feeds from blog #1 and #2, then add an RSS feed from another sponsor. Then play up with BO's content rewriter a little, changing certaint words and setting up post order, and voila.

Twan, i like that idea, test it to see what it does.

I am also not going to OVER USE the same stuff, i mean 2-3 other Blogs using the same (but slightly re-written content) is all i would go.

But think about it, im handwirting, even if i only do an addition 2 blogs with the same (but slightly re-written content) thats an additional 20 Blogs (30 in total) if i do 10 Differnt niches, rather then 10 blogs.

Im trying to cut corners here, still working my 8-4, doing my writing on my lunch hour, and doing administative tasks for the site at home after work, so time is tight and im trying to make it work the best i can.

AND since ALL of you said the 1st blog wont be affected much, then thats the answer i was looking for!


I ALSO LIKE the idea about using the RSS Feeds on the 2nd/3rd blogs to bring some more uniqueness to it. Fuckin Great man!

Im in the middle of doing a network, gettingexploited.com is the main page, (not 100% updated), but i am doing handwritten blogs on the subdomains with catchy names like, mothers.gettingexploited.com, schoolgirls.gettingexploited.com,etc....And would LOVE to get MORE blogs on it.

This is DEF an option i was thinking about, just need more unique blogs/handwritten for me to really put this into effect. But this is DEF something i was going to do =]

it isnt so easy to ban a site, if your site is already a few months on the web and it has many replies on SE it wont get banned if it occurs rarely

That is indeed the best way to go, you can get pointers/idea's from people on the forum but you will never get the same results as someone else. Mainly because there are many many and even more factors that have effect on your search engine ranking
