Keyword rich blog writing

Okay I've seen some samples of keyword rich blog post writing and it comes in two phases, over abundance of spam or good writing.

Bottom line is though, which converts? Do you get a high SE ranking with keyword rich shlock but no conversions or do you get SE ranking with good writing but low conversions?

I write as naturally as possible. Usually, given the niche keywords get sprinkled throughout the text without me trying. I don't count them.

To me original text is what I'm after, descriptive original text.

I find myself being very repetitive. I try and describe the pictures I'm posting usually describing the girls and often times I find myself describing similar girls in similar ways which I think might be problematic for SEO. I just have never been a great writer so I can't get that natural with my posts. Maybe it would be cool for someone to post a picture and have everyone give an example of what their text would be for that blog post etc. I think it would be cool to see everyones methods.

You could write keyword rich text that appeals to humans too, I do think. It's best not to overcrowd your text with keywords anyway, definitely not with the very same keywords/key phrases. In the end, SE's try to find the best text for humans, so if you keep it good for humans, your site will do ok.

Writing blog posts specially for search engines is difficult, especially if you aren't a SEO expert.
Your best bet would be just to type what you think and don't pay too much attention on using keywords and repetitive words.

very true. i find that 98% of "SEO writers" have no real clue about SEO, all they usually do is stuff keywords and try to make phrases around them.

top SEO writing is an art - the goal is finding that perfect balance of great natural sales text that converts combined with the right density of keywords, keyword variations and synonyms.

a writer who doesn't know SEO extremely well should stick to writing natural sales text without thinking about keywords. there's a reason that the true top SEO copywriters in mainstream are paid thousands of $ per hour.

Excellent responses all!

Boobs Are Cool, good idea! If someone would like to post a pic that would be awesome.

I'm learning another language, Russian. I'll be writing in that language and am learning so much about the Russian mindset from it. No wonder the U.S. never understood the Russian people. Their customs and thought patterns are quite different and that must be respected when communicating with them. You'll find that also with many cultures but Russian is something else

I've never gotten a complaint from my clients for my writing. Actually in 30 years I've never gotten a complaint from my writing.

I was 'blog writing' before blogging was invented and those pages the SEs really liked. It's that personal touch I think that does it. Makes it look like a real human is behind it instead of some cloner.
