Well I don`t have a copies of texts , i didn`t contacted them ... it was not a hardcore blog, only lesbians and some text ...

I just saw it, 20 min ago ... I have tried to log in to add more content, and it said "no that username" ... so I went to my blogs url ... and no blog !!!

This hit me like "katrine" .. i am very close to give up from this biz .... I even didn`t earn anything from it !!!

With all the recent news on Blogger I have a feeling we'll soon be seeing a lot of webmasters in a hurry to make a copy of all the work they've poured into their blogs.

It's easy to say "we told you so", but I can still sympathize - it definately hurts a whole lot to have something you spent many hours on shut down.
Even if I back up Bloggers incentive to deal with the tens of thousands of spam blogs I still have a feeling that a lot of quality blogs could and probably will fall in the process as well - especially if the content is something that could easily be next in line for the "questionable" label.

I will still say "we told you so" however - I wouldn't ever trust a freehost to keep something I had put any serious work into, but pretty much be expecting to wake up one day and see it gone without a damn thing I could do about it.
The fact is that many of you have probably poured sometimes several hundred hours into your Blogspot blogs, so if you haven't already, it sounds like now may be a very good time to consider a backup if not a full move to your own domain.

it may not be so simple for those who have an established freehosted blog listed on countless directories and linked on countless blogs... to move domain could result in loss of months of hard earned traffic

I don't even trust my own not-so-free host to keep backups. They do, but I still do regular backups of all my sites to not one, but two of my own harddrives. Better safe than sorry - especially when we're talking something you've poured countless hours of work into, and that's helping you pay your bills to boot.

Ural... I'm really sorry to hear that, I would be gutted if I lost mine.

Mihx, I think it's too early to say I told you so, and probaly not the best time to say it, when someone has just lost their blog. You don't know they have deleted it. There are other explanations as to what may have happened. If there wasn't any hardcore, I doubt they would just delete it without an e-mail.

I'll only worry about my blog, when I hear any news about blogger banning adult content.

Remember, Maxdaforce lost his blogs on Blogger, and I think he believed they were hacked, rather than Blogger removing them.

Well, Wankus and Gram Ponante have been posting full-on hardcore on www.blogger.com for over a year and never had a problem. LiveJournal also allows porn info and pics IF you get the paid version and Chow Yun Smut has had her pron blog there for almost two years. They even ignored her full on hardcore shots she posted under the cut for the last six weeks.

Could it be the name you choose for the Blog? That would make them notice it much faster and have more problems with it. Please notice that all of these have their names in the URLs, not Lesbo-Whores or Hardcore-Sluts or something.

My advice would be to set up a fairly vanilla name for the blog URL and then just point to it from a domain that you control for the actual "porn" type name.

There's also a possible issue with your bandwidth usage. . . . If you're getting too many hits, then it may have frozen your account. They usually send an email for that.

I still have to start a blog program, but I sure have learned a lot here on netpond and from my friends with paying blogs.

That also happen to me, i was beginning to worry i was the only one. I hoped i was the only one cause it stinks when a blog gets deleted. At the moment i moved my blogs to thumblogger and that seems to function good and they have some nice features too.
