With Yahoo changing the way their Email works we needed a new
tuturial on how to get traffic to your site from Yahoo.

For those of you who don't know basicly there are no more unmoderated
groups at Yahoo. All Email messages now have to be approved before
being posted to the group by the groups Moderator or Moderators.

So what I have come up with here is really a more targeted way to
get traffic from Yahoo and the traffic you get this way should produce
much better results than the old shotgun approach we did use.

Here's how you have to do it.

1. You must own a few sets of content. ( Do Not Use Sponsors Content )

You can buy a few high quality sets of content very reasonable to use in
our project here. You need on topic content that closely matches up to
the same type of content they are going to see when you get them to your
site. Buy the best photo sets you can find as high quality as you can find
and afford. I would suggest if your starting from scratch buy one or two
sets until you see how this is going to work for you.

2. You will need a Yahoo ID and if I was you I would sign up for a completly
new Yahoo ID to use for our project here. Let me give you a free tidbit of
information here. If you are a male create a female Yahoo ID. Give your
self a sexy sounding Yahoo ID Name. Female Yahoo IDs get a much better
response than male ones. Try it and you will see what I mean.

3. You will need to join all the groups on the top 100 Yahoo Groups
By this I mean join the ones that you have on topic content to mail
to. Make sure you follow what I am saying. Only on topic content.

Ok as I said those are the top 100 as ranked by Wingman's Adult Groups
Out of that list you want to build you a nice on topic mailing list to send
your mailings to. Make sure your on topic or your messages will never get
thru. Don't mail teens to a gay group or gay pics to a amatuer group. You
need to go to your groups you join and check them out. Sign up so that at
least for a few days you can receive the groups Emails so you can see what
is being mailed to the group. Know your groups and know what they like to
see. Your going to have to spend some time doing this. But if you spend the
time doing careful research and make only on topic posts you will get back
good to great traffic. With that top 100 list your going to have to include
on topic photos for your message to get thru and you need to keep the included
message down to something as simple as

Don't put much more. If you do it may not get posted and you want it to get
posted so it will go out to all the group members.

You will get much better traffic from these type of mailings than you did the
old way and your messages are on topic. I can't stress enough visit the groups ,
receive their emails , make notes. Know what your doing. Keep it 100 percent
on topic.

Now you can expand beyond that top 100 list and probally should but now instead
of the old way where you wanted only unmoderated groups you want moderated
groups and you want active groups. Again visit them and recieve their messages
so you know whats going on. You can go back later and turn off all the email
by changing your group settings to web only. When you get ready to expand beyond
that top 100 groups visit.

Remember you want to include photos in your mailings. 3-5 per mailing.
Mail to your groups every 3-4 days for a traffic boost.
Keep your message short and simple.

Warning Do Not Mail Sponsor Content To Groups
Do Not Include Any Links But Links To Your Site Or landing Page
Mail only content you have purchased to groups

If you have a set of 24 , 48 , 64 , etc of photos mail it to your groups
like 4-5 at a time. if its really good content they will be waiting for you
to mail the rest.

You will learn as you go along.

If you do your mailings exactly as I have outlined here you will be completly
legal. Your message is on topic sent to a group that wants to see it and
approved by the groups moderator. Yahoo inserts a removal link into every
email they send so that makes it comply with the CanSpam laws.

When you see the amount of traffic you receive from mailings you can
then deside if its worth you investing in more content.

Set Up Two Sets Of The Same Content

When you buy your content you want to duplicate the set. Or make a
copy of the set. Here's why. A few groups on the above list will not
accept mailings with marked content but most will. In the bottom
left hand corner of the photos watermark the content with the
url to your site. If its really good content you will find that people
will for a long time type that url in to visit it to try to see more of
the same. And these will all be extra visitors and no matter where
your content ends up your url will be advertising for you. You will
have to read the rules at each group and find the ones that will not
accept watermarked content. There are only a few.

Ok thats about it. I think I have pretty much covered it all. This is
how I am keeping traffic moving to my sites and it works very well
for me. You may need to make adjustments to make it work for you.
But bottomline you must keep your mailings on topic and for them to
get thru and get posted to the groups they must contain photos and
you need to own those photos. Again do not mail sponsors photos
to groups. Do not include any links but links to your site or landing
page. And be sure that you do the research you will need to do to
make sure your mailing only on topic. If you do those things you
will I think be happy with the traffic you get back.

You need to check the groups your mailing to and see if your mailings
are getting thru. ( Getting posted by the Moderator to the Group ).
With some groups it can take 3-4 days. In most cases it will not
be a instant thing. You need to know this. But if you mail on topic
and like I said above mail every 3-4 days your mailings will get thru
and you will get traffic.

Not sure did you get my question ... lets say it this way: if I send simple e-mail only with text and link to my site to the groups and on that landind page I have sponsors content ... is that allowed?

Of course you can have sponsors content on your site. You just cant or should not put sponsors content in a email message. To mail to those groups above you will have to include photos. That is what will get your message thru. You can buy some sets of content cheap from Paul. His content is very good.

Yes there is really good traffic from them and as long as you follow this tuturial and do it the way I have outlined you can get some really great traffic.

Well it will be a bit slower doing it the way I have outlined here but it will work and it will bring you a lot of niche specific targeted traffic which you should be able to convert much easier.

When you include photos you can only mail to 10 at a time. Just seperate them out like I do in groups of 10. It works great for me that way. I can mail to like 500 groups in under 2 hours.

Because as far as I know with 1 or 2 rare exceptions it is against their T.O.S.
