Blogs with free porn on them

I'm just wondering what do bloggers gain from doing this exactly? When I talk about free porn I'm talking about entire ripped DVD's front to back.
They can't really convert that much surely?

in a word...NO!!! are you sure these are webmasters? Or surfers who know how to put the shit up? If they are supposedly webmasters then they have no clue how to sell...

I also don't see the point in doing that, they would have much better ratios by just enticing the surfer than showing them the full stuff.
Maybe they are just trying to make money from targeted ads, who knows.

I dunno who he/she is but his blog his just jammed packed with GB after GB of ripped porn DVDs, more browser almost crashed, he's got his adultfriendfinder ads alongside some webmaster sponsors on the sidebar but that's about it. Its been running since february judging from the archives...

Oh well, maybe the blogger is a really generous person!

Umm ripping porn is obviously bad for us and our sponsors...

But me and ICOO Cash have made sweet money together...they promote themselves as "ripped free dvds" - hopefully that's a sales pitch lol...

Dude when they say FREE PORN I would imagine most surfers/punters go "yeah right.." or at least I hope they do...

I have my hosting and then some paid each month by of My Free Paysite...Iwould imagine most webmasters hate that site why I cannot fathom - they pay 50c a FREE sign up regular as clockwork...

That's the only one I've done in three years that works and pays REGULARLY but you have to tease and annoy ya punters and prove it's a cool place to go...

I used to love hpic's $1 deals...but as I only made $100 every couple of months I was moved by that lovely hpic guy to partnership...now my stats read -$3

$1 trials or free punters believe it or not are always looking for the catch...too good to be true will send 'em running to the hills unless you can CONVERT 'em...

the concept is to tease the surfer with short trailers so they are click and join the sponsor not give entire photo shoots and videos away, that is just common sense. similar to movie trailers, who would go to the theater if the trailers contained 90-100% of the movie. these sites must be run by surfers because a true webmaster would know better than that. I deal mostly with mainstream sites, but again, that is plain common sense.

Not sure about the details of this specific site but many of these types of sites grow very fast with bookmarkers and the webmaster than makes his/her coin with ppc and per impression sponsors.

I sort of agree with the pennies on the dollar thing - but it's nice to have a mix to offer surfers - not everyone can afford or wants to be a premium member...

So I like to offer that as a final chance of getting something from their visit...

And as Thomas always says if a blog can make a dollar a day...

flip...you might offer the free stuff after they've passed on the premium stuff and the trials and all...but do you offer all the free shit up front? Offer them the good stuff, then the medium stuff, then the free shit...that's the order! some people just throw the free shit at the surfer as soon as he hits the page, then wonder why they aren't making sales.

Hey both...last thing I do after my surfers decide they hate my stuff that day (as in no sign up) is send my major traffic trades to my other sites - then if they they ignore that click/link it's free porn baby and I get 50cents.....simple...give 'em the choice and make as they leave...

Ack, rereading my post I guess it didn't come out right...
Flip, I'm pretty sure you have a clue...what started this thread was a blog giving full ripped dvds away for absolutely nothing. THAT blogger obviously doesn't have a clue. S/he could be making so much more, but instead is giving away the farm and hurting the whole industry on top of it.

Some of it is to be blamed on sponsors, IMO. Some sponsor give the affiliates complete movies, full length, in the affiliate area. No wonder some idiots just take that and place it on their blogs, they probably think it's what it's for.

IMO, allowing webmasters access to the full movies is good only if you do it on an individual basis with webmasters that you know and trust.
