What should you do with a name you've just registered...

Should you just park it with an aggregator or other service, or should you put a load of text on it for a while, and set up some links to it. Then after a couple or three months you can give it to a parking service.

I guess you should put some text, few pages of keyword rich text and set up some links, search engines will probably take it and you will get some traffic. After that domain would be much better for parking.

I always put up a FPA I SEO'd until I get a chance to work the site to what I want it to be.

I wouldn't park it if I wanted to make some serious money.

I'd add a few galleries and freesites of mine and make a hub. I would also submit that hub to link dumps.

Make a blog - it'll get picked up pretty quickly and you'll have a nice few days/weeks of hits before it disappears for awhile...

Then you either re-develop it or just keep building it for the future - that's what I do anyway

If you don't want to develop that site is always better to put something there... at least page with some pic or fpa and link to sponsor...

I like to build a simple SEO'd page and get a link or two in bound then leave it for a few months.

My lastest plan is to put at least 3 pages of relevant stuff, SEO'd of course (more is better if you can) and then list it on sedo as a site and put their free tracker on it so that your hits come through to sellers, and then... put my secret, not finished yet, domain selling script on it... muhahahaha

Not to mention putting adsense, clickbank etc whatever, to get those extra pennies whilst you decide what exactly to do with it.

a title
a good keyworded description
a banner named with the main keyword and a nice keyworded text link
a few lines of text with keywords
and a few links to galleries or something to get them horny

then i link dump it
and set up a link or two from one of my other sites
that usualy starts to get some hits to the site

I think it should more better if you will put some text too....

yeah this is great advice, thanks! i'll try not to be so lazy anymore and do this instead of just parking them
