Sponsors offering aids for domainers

We all know about content, FHGs freesites and other traditional sales aids, but do any sponsors offer extra facilities for domainers who are looking for a bit more revenue than they get from parking.

404 pages would be one example that I have seen offered. Please tell us what you can offer to busy drop catchers.

we at LongBucks have trade hosted thumb tgps. - so webmaster can send his traffic from different sources to these sites and get traffic back by productivity to some of his sites or traffic brokers.

I also see more and more sponsors with free hosted thumbs and full page ads... that would be something you can easily use...

Well I'm a bit disappointed that we haven't seen more sponsors posting in this thread.

Maybe most sponsors considder RSS feeds to be enough to fill up a domain...

Some still have some second thoughts about how much that domain will still be worth in say 2 years from now though...

Anyways, there are several sponsors that offer hosted thumb tgp's or hosted tgp-like I F R A M E S
just a few lines of code to always have fresh content.
But again... the SE's... PR ...

I offer a service that does just that, but it doesn't provide any traffic stats. If I'm going to host the name to get the stats, then I might as well promote a variety of sponsors.

I guess it depends on hosting costs as to the value/convenience of redirecting to a sponsor HB. Some sponsors don't allow it either.

What could sponsors offer the domainer, who may not necessarily also be a webmaster?

Mini sites would be a good start. You don't even have to give them away free. You could charge a small fee for them, whatever it costs you to have created and take it out of their first check. Assuming the sponsor had a writer/webmaster on staff already. I could just upload it to my new niche domain, and it would be ready to promote the sites in your network.

Another great option would be something like a Parking portal. This should be designed as SE friendly as possible with the affiliates id in place and carried throughout the site. myasiandomain.com/123456/asians.php

also what came to my mind is this: a lot of sponsors offer Free Hosted Sites (Freesites) but they are good only for linking to them... why wouldn't sponsors give freesites made for their program in .zip file so you can download them and upload them to your sites... that would be good for people with unused domains... this way he can only show them in i frame which is bad for SEO...

IMHO it would be better to make mini sites yourself, if the sponsor was to make them you'd only have a few options available and I rarely like what the sponsor offers.

I know what you mean regarding quick and easy, but wouldn't it be easier to redirect all your domains to one page (or a set of niche pages) so you could tweak it and play with all your traffic in one go.

Probably better to make them yourself, but not necessarily. Some large domain portfolio owners may not be good webmasters or know how to design a site that will convert with the sponsor. They may just decide to park all their names instead and be done with it. The sponsors always claim they can help improve your conversions, and if so then they should have that knowledge to be able to create mini sites that will convert across their network.

I think the sponsor who does provide these options however, will be more likely to get that valuable domain typein traffic.
