any sponsors you can recommend for such landingpages, glowlite? i have some mobi's that get great type-ins, but parking them doesn't pay well. seems most parking programs are not really geared up for mobi's yet.

I'm still not convinced that mobi domains are worth bothering with. Why not just use a .com, and select the page type for mobile phones?

I actually meant adult sponsors and not parking companies hardcoreblogger. Many many sponsors have landing pages designed for handheld devices.

As for parking it's hard to come by, NameDrive and TrafficZ have MOBI templates. MANY of your currently parked domains may already work on small screens. Parking templates are usually designed small anyway and are often just a list of text links.

You may find many of the 'fullsize' templates you're already using fit well on smallscreen.

thanks, mate! i have tried namedrive and was not too thrilled with the revenue per click. it's all niched type-in traffic, so i'll try to find a sponsor with mobile tours for the major niches.

Better sooner than later.
It doesn't need to be anything special either. Just as Head Boy alluded to, by doing some browser/OS sniffing on your current .COMs traffic can be redirected to your .MOBI
Always throw a sales pitch for your "big site" on the .MOBI, and pitch the handheld site on your .COM

I have the impression you have a lot of returning/bookmark traffic since you're a very nichey girl! Why not poll them Pam? Ask what handheld devices they use on a regular basis with a poll allowing multiple checkbox selections. Include cell phones on the poll so everyone will feel like a contributor. Ask what handheld devices they plan on buying in the next 3-6-12 months. People love to talk about themselves.

Buy the .MOBIs of your best .COMs Pam, if you don't somebody else will. As an alternative you can use subdomains of your sites, thats becoming extremely popular in the corporate world and surfers are learning to search for it.

I have some ideas in my head for the site. I already have a few cellphone porn sites and they do so-so since I don't push them.

I'm thinking maybe a TGP-type site where they can view the clips on their cellphone/etc.

I feel stupid but what other handheld devices are there other than cellphones? What else can you watch porn on? (Yes, I see weird entries in my logs for browsers but have never investigated what they are, maybe I need to?)

There's a long list of handhelds Pam. The most recent one being embraced by buyers is the iPhone. Go to Amazon and search "handheld", that will give you some idea.

Nearly everyone above the age of 15 is carrying a cell phone. SMS billing is available now too. Porn passes billed by the minute can be charged to your cell phone account or prepaid.

I'm truly amazed that U.S is so far behind cellular technology compared the the rest of the world.

But I do think targeting cellphones and handheld is the next 'big thing' after tube sites. It opens up a whole new field of opportunity, you just have to rethink how you build your sites.

I'm trying to think of a good design/format for this site. I already have a few cell phone porn sites but want to put my main site in the mobile format, I guess ... but since 99% of it is text, I'm still trying to think this through.

I see my stats for mobile porn in the USA and they aren't very encouraging, but perhaps I need to push a little harder.

ZDNet Research studied the iPhone buyers for the month of July. Most iPhone purchasers in July were male, 35 years of age or younger and possessed a four-year college degree or more. That would put them between 22-35 yrs.

Handheld users like and use undernet speak. Maybe you could integrate some of that?
