What you think abouth TV domain for adult site ?
I think TV domain is good for movies and clips,maybe TV domain is not like .com but what you think ?

I stick to .com myself, but I believe you can have sucess with any tlds.....but down the road, the owners of .coms have more valuable real estate!

.TV has proven to be excellent for clips & videos and action/interaction sites of all types. Tons of tube type sites use TV names. I guess surfers have learned to make that mental connection between .TV and video feeds.

Why AWMs don't pick up on that from mainstream is beyond me. Too expensive I guess? I dunno ....
I do have them at less than 1/2 price on promo for a short time @ $19.99

.TV TLDs could be great but I'll stick to .COMs.

I'd have some .tv if they weren't more expensive for absolutely no good reason.

I think carefully selected ones could be a very sound investment. Look at ones which 'Could' lead to a future television project like Gems.tv for example...

I think any TLD that is a single word and spelled correctly would be a good investment if you were going to resell but i would rather go with a dot com if i could. it will always be worth more and it seems to be stuck in peoples mind as the default when typing in.


heres the only prob i see, say you owned porn.tv how many potential customers do you think you would lose to porn dot com because most people automatically add com to the end of a domain. Even i occasionally do it, i know im going to a dot net and type dot com any way.

You would lose none. Reason being the .com was already registered so you cannot lose something you did not have to gain in the first place. Imagine this, sex.com worth how many $100,000's you are never going to own it. A new extension is released and you grab the www.sex.new extension.

Your missing what i was saying totaly. If i buy pornwhatever.tv and someone else owns pornwhatever.com, i set up a great site im going to have at least 80% of the type ins end up at pornwhatever.com because people are use to typing dot com. So i would be losing traffic that means i would be losing something now wouldn't i.

As for your smart ass comment"The question was what do you think of the .tv not is a .tv better than a .com" I dont recall you making smart ass comments to GloboFun or ScreamM when they commented on .coms. You know being that the question wasn't about .coms one would thing you would be right there to correct them too. I guess you put me in my place

I took Globofun to be a simple statement of "He only buys a .com and would never buy anything else". As for Scream, stick around a little longer and you will see that Scream enjoys earning 5 cents a post and to some (me included) it becomes a little irritating.

I am not saying he never posts anything of interest, just that I tend to ignore his posts a little more than I do other's. I picked up on your comment as you were comparing losing traffic. Sure EVERYONE would register a .com first but they are running out fast and if there is a decent .tv extension to be had grab it.
