Lightbulb recommend me a domain registrar
my domains are at GoDaddy at the moment but due to horror stories I hear lately, I need to transfer top another

right now I have these in my head:
Moniker
namecheap


please give me opinions on those if you will or recommend others

I used to have my at godaddy when I first started.

Now, they're all at namecheap.

Doesn't matter whether they're porn or not as long as they're legal. If they aren't legal, any registrar will shut you down if there are complaints.

And yes, godaddy has been known to kidnap or suspend domains with good traffic as long as someone complaints, just complaints with barely any proof.

Even if you do manage to get it back if you can proof your innocent, you'll lose money for as long as your site is down and you'll to pay an admin fee of around $199 each, just to reactivate it.

all my stuff are legal but a company that does that kind of kidnap for no proof is shit in my book.

Of course they are. Another one with flawless reputation is Moniker, though they're not that cheap but Namecheap is doing just fine for me.

If you've a lot of domains to transfer hit up their support, they've been known to offer special rates for mass transfer.
