no, I don't have more than 10 undeveloped names. If I have close to it I develop few of them before buying new

Im probably around 15-20 undeveloped, possibly more if i counted and didnt just make a guess off of buying 8 last night.

i'm not at the addicted phase yet!

but, my confession.. looking at my list of undeveloped domains, the count is at:

56 undeveloped domains (with priority for dev), and 16 undeveloped at a lower priority.

question for the compulsive/impulsive/addicted folks..

when that good domain name comes to mind, how much time do you give to putting an idea around it?

do you purchase because you "can't let a good thing go" or "for fear someone else will get i?"

I have more than one specific reason. First domain names are running out fast so I like to get one when it is available. The more they run out the more value I can see mine rising in price.

Secondly I never start a new site with tomorrow or even next month in mind. I like to get the domain, maybe pop a single page up and forget for a few weeks, sometimes months. Then when I go back to it and start developing Google has already indexed, if I start getting lots of inward links Google does not mind and SE traffic seems to build quicker.

Finally, I lose bits of paper and if I don't buy it there and then I cannot remember what it was the following week

that is something i just started doing, putting up a simple index page.. for (3) sites.. lol, but damn... it has to be done almost the same day you do it, because i have to go back and do it for 20+ domains ugh! lol

It's to easy to become addicted to buying domains whether you develop them into a site or just hold on to them and park them. Just look at the camel toes post that GTP DAVE did ,look at the top sale and then look at rick Latona sales, he also was the owner of the top seller,unless my calculator is broken he made just over 883,000 that week.HOLY FUCK!
