Well, I didn't want to be funny, when I asked this question. I have done domain appraisals for longer than a year in a couple of mainstream forums. All in all it's a thankless job. Mainly for the reason because many people who introduce their domain names are not really interested in a serious appraisal. They only expect that you agree to the opinion that they have themselves about the domain and that you praise them for the great catch they made.

And if one don't, they react often offended. So that's why I rather ask first, before I post what I think. It's just to prevent misunderstandings. Thought I should mention it.

if you have some "opinion" about the domains, just spit it out!

i like the second one domain "adultsexboard", straightforward and it's easy to brand and run with that.. the other domain, iffy... if i were to buy it, it's just a straight one-pager that pushes ppl to (Fling, XXXBlack, etc..)

If you like a domain name and the price sounds okay to you, then you shouldn't hesitate to buy it. Everyone would give you the same advice. I also think that "adultsexboard" is the better one of the both. Well, it's no gold nugget. It's no dictionary word, is it? Just a random wordmix.
I mean, for what target group else than adults can a sexbboard be meant? Would you consider to name a site "adultbeerboard"? I don't think so. Further, 13 letters that's pretty long. The longer a word the higher the risk that people forget the name or make typhos, when they type it in and land perhaps on your competitors site. lol

In general I would say as a brand for a bigger site "adultsexboard" isn't good enough. But for the purpose you have in mind it's okay. As for the value. Well what I said before. And then it's only the name. No site, no traffic, no revenue, right? Plus the market is full of similar domain names. So the value is rather low. Again, if a name is what you are looking for and the price sounds okay, then it's always a good deal.

I agree with that, domain names are good for keyword baiting but without a good content traffic and backlinks, the value is not much, at least not for me, what takes hard work is to get traffic

I cannot believe anyone actually pays for an appraisal, it is such a con... Someone says I have 50 domain names, appraise this one for me, you tell them it is worth $800 when in reality they might get $20 for it (only worth what somone is willing to pay). The person thinks GREAT I am going to get my other domain names appraised now...

In all industries are people who are seeking advice and are willing to pay for it. That's business. You can take an advice or ignore it. And black sheeps who tell only shit to their clients you can find all around. For example since years is this scam running on web that someone offers you to buy your domain names, but first you have to charge a company that he names with an appraisal. Of course after you paid the appraisal you never hear again from this guy.

Anyway a risks is always. As for me I never sold appraisals. It's more that I post my personal opinion. You are right. It's only one opinion. But all in all I'm just repeating in my reply what's public knowledge.
