Some Registrars Suck!

1&1 for starters!
6 months ago they billed me for a domain I was letting expire that I got in a package I bought at DNforem.
I didn't have it set on auto-renewal yet they still billed me and sent it to
a collection agency who wanted $45.00 to keep from turning it over to the credit sites.
I finally get 1$1 to drop it..
Now I go there and log in as I still have 5 domains there I'm going to drop and I'm locked out
of My Domains as they're set for delete amd Billing says I owe them Total amount due $29.95
Here's the good part they don't expire till 6/20/08 that's 40 days from now.
However I can't get them to do anything with them and they'll probably turn the
$29.95 nover to the same collection agency!

Also have you ever got email from WeSellThisDomain.com about domains ready to expire?
They send you here to renew them eURLs.Network - Buy & Sell URLs, Domain Hosting & Name Tools . (It's safe check it out
Then they want you to log in, fine but I have no account there so NO login info.
I ran a Whois on one of the domains and it's at Enom!
If I haden't run the Whois I never would have found out where they were at.
F*n registrars, and people rag about GoDaddy!

I don't worry too much about GD... at one time I did and RegisterFly was popular so I went with them for a bunch of domains.... sigh, that was a clusterfuck.

#1 registar is NameCheap.com

It's fast, easy to use.
No bullshit stuff (like at GoDaddy)
When you go over 50 domains you can ask for your own coupon code that will give you lifetime discount for new domains, renewals an transfers.

They accept credit cards (ePass virtual card works too) and paypal.

Never had any issues, have good support trough trouble ticket system.

I dont worry about GoDaddy either.
150+ domains, been with them 6 years never had a problem.

I have one at Fab & I only pay $7.39 for D's or renewels at GD &
the same at Moniker, you just need Exec accounts.
I only pay $6 something for new Nets at Moniker..

no issues there ,

i prefer dynadot.com and moniker.com ...godaddy is ok

I used a few Registrars over last few years but recently I buy every new domain @ Namecheap.com.

How easy can it be to reg or renew a Domain.
I just make a quick phone call or email to either GD of Moniker and the
Domains in my account!
