Here's a trick I learned in Tampa

As a microbe in the sea of the internet; thought I'd pass on a trick my old boss in Tampa taught me while I was helping with some adult sites of his.

He found that if you add the word 'monthly' after the title; chances are it's open! He ended up with about 10,000 domain names using that trick.

Just my 2 cents worth, hope it helps y'all in your search for exclusive domain names.

jesus christ thought....10000 domains at $4 a domain, I'm hoping, is still $40k a year...is this for real? How does he manage all of them?

Yeah..........you can do that by adding on different words. I have a list of similar domains that I know are available.

Well he already was a successful businessman; so when he got them all through GoDaddy; and when they saw him buying up so many, they actually set up a GoDaddy rep to answer his questions and keep his domains in line. His company had about 20 people in it (2 for the 'adult' side/my side). Everyone else just was setting up marial arts/hot rod/motorcycle type sites as online magazines. So there were already people in the company who's job was to keep everything straight and scheduled for development.

The only thing I can compare it to is like your local 'free' weekly paper; that makes money by selling ad space. He may not have made alot of money off of one website; but with all of those domains...it all added up nicely.

It's like there's a site called 'HotMoms.com' as a example. You hit up GoDaddy or another domain site and then just try 'HotMomsMonthly.com'; chances are it should be 'open' for purchase.
