I believe that the ICANN approved registrars will be the ones who gain control over that if it is passed...but I can see a can of worms being opened if it does...not good.

I don't get it.... you can own your own extension or they are releasing words as extension and then you create your own domains as usual? So (dot)myextension OR mychosenname(dot)newextensions TY BAD |

Weren't they supposed to come out with a .xxx TLD? I should keep up on this stuff more. I'd like the .love one but not sure what great thing it would be other than more domain vanity type. Thanks for the info!

I've seen this lately in mainstream news sources, I was suprised this wasn't being discussed here more. Won't it dilute domain prices a lot if the net is flooded with anything goes TLDs?
From what I hear it will cost a pretty penny to own one, but I can see sponsors for example buying them if they can |
