Buying for selling
if i was to buy a domain in the idea of selling what should i look for
ok .com's and keywords are top of the list but what about hyphens with or without ? where to go to sell the domain ? what should i do with the page while im waiting to sell ? should i boost SE trafic with optemized pages ? would it be better to have a running site even if there is less trafic ? and more questions to come  __________________

Don't buy to sell yet, buy for investment. If it isn't a good investment for you, it isn't a good buy for someone else. (unless you are targetting a buyer).
btw - "buying" a domain means buying the lease from someone else. While you are finding out about domains, it's better to try to spot drops or unrealised opportunities and just pay the registration fee. Park them so that they earn you a bit of income, and wait for a buyer to find you. (listing them on sites like Sedo helps this of course). __________________

buy buying i did mean regestering domains droped or not im not going to buy at 1,000+ to sell after
lets say i find a droped domain what would be the steps i need to make for preparing it so a potential buyer comes along apart from building a porn site __________________

Put something about the domain being for sale in the registration details, and make sure your contact info is OK. This is still one of the best ways to pick up a buyer.
List it with some selling services, and park it somewhere that gives you a bit of income. The alternative is to manage it yourself. I'm supposed to be running a demo project for this using www.sportslesbians.com but I'm being a bit slow - sorry. __________________
