Sex sells
Like we didn't know that but here's what amazes me.
About a month ago, I took over www.sex-writer.com. The site is not live, has been pretty much unadvertised and dead since Nov. of last year but it gets about 100 hits a day. (More than my blogs that I push!). 95% of those hits are a google search of www.sex . The sad thing is, I can't use the traffic it's sending for the site because we're about writing for the adult market (and that's not what these people want) - we do filter off some of it to adult sites that my partner and I own but still. . I just think it's funny and it sure proves that a domain name can make a difference. JD |

If you've got those hits coming in from google it must be as a result of an old page that is still linked. Find out what the page was (or use a 404 re-direct), and send it to a multi-site sales page for Netpond Cash.

It's coming in off the main page www.sex-writer.com. We transfered servers, but the page is still there. We funnel off traffic but putting links that say hey, if you were really looking for porn, check here.

The site looks quite good, why don't you "launch" it? Expand it & promote it and so on...
I'm sure you can include quite a few ways to direct the porn-seekers to your other sites that way too... |

We're waiting on CCbill to set up the billing on it. The old processor my partner was using turned chicken on adult and pulled their system.
It looks even better on the inside! We'll be ready soon. JD |
