domain bought with stolen credit card ...

I thought I might post this on main forum but I decided to post here.

Ok, let's say I'm 100% sure that one person bought some domains with stolen (hacked!) credit card info. Domain should expire on 2007 (I'm not really sure how many years he bought). Anyway, if I wanna report that case to someone (and if I want that domain badly lol) what can I do to report that and what can be done so that domain becomes available again?

P.S. I would probably never expose person that I'm talking about but I would suggest that credit card info should be checked and credit card owner should be contacted, I also have no idea on what site is domain bought ...

Payment has nothing to do with domain ownership. The registrar may not even be able to reclaim the name without taking the buyer to court. Even if he did, the chances of you picking up the name are slim.

Your best bet is to make a deal with the current owner, and transfer the name away from the current registrar.

it was more about fucking him up (not because I hate him, but 'cause he's fucking idiot doing stuff like that and hacking credit cards). When I say "fucking him up" I don't mean taking him to court, but taking that domain name from him lol, anyway, doesn't really matter, just wanted to know what can be done

Well whatever you do could end up with him in court. If you write to the registrar, he might alert the police.

Tip off the cops about the stolen CC thing, or the CC owner if you know that much detail... If he's in jail he won't be able to renew his domains
