How to change registrant?

I have some old domain I've registred here in Croatia and they expired today. I simply didn't wanted to pay damn too much for renewal and I didn't used them too much.
My question is: can I still get those domain with another registrant? HB, how to do that?

You can't usually transfer them if they have fewer than 10 days left before expiry.

btw - you are the registrant, and you use a registrar to register your name at the registry (if that makes sense

I'll renew them at high price than. How will I change registrar later on?

To change the registrar, you just unlock the domain name and tell me. I'll initiate the transfer, which takes 4-10 days if there aren't any problems. You have to pay for the registration to be extended for an additional year, but there are no other charges. If the transfer fails, then you get a full refund.
