Are .TV names worth it?

I've bought a few names - some to resell and some to develop. But they're a little expensive. I got muff.tv (MTV) and I'm wondering if I should develop it or sell it undeveloped. Any comments?

It's a ccTLD for a small island, and subject to the risks associated with such governments. I've never felt that it will become a serious international tld, so I've ignored it along with the others like .ws, .st etc. Some people think that they will become accepted - I guess it's down to the surfer in the end.

Sorry to bump a thread that´s a few days old, but how do I check the whois for a .tv? I can't seem to find a whois service that does them..

I just found a .tv whois myself...I got nervous cause I got some these on ebay...

we use them all the time when we promote our websites on TeleVision
livexxx.tv , babestation.tv etc.

Seems to work well and our only recourse when the .com's nad .co.uk's are already gone.

My only thought is that people might get transvestite into their head when they read it.

I also like the .fm one for the radio stations

(French Micronesia I think)
