Win half a UK lottery ticket

I've just been spammed by one of those international lottery scammers. It included 6 numbers and I'm going to buy a lottery ticket with them, and give away half the prize money. I'm only giving away half the money, because I'll be pissed off if it wins a few million and I have to give it all away.

The estimated prize is £5.200.000, and here are the details

Just so you know that there isn't any cheating, I'll pm the numbers to Meat on Saturday. So how do you win?

All you have to do is to post in this thread and hit the lucky post number. Posts must contain a minimum of five words, and you cannot make consecutive posts. This means you have to wait for someone else to post before you can post again. The closing time is the same as the lottery closing time ie 7.30pm BST on Saturday 3rd September 2005. If a post is not eligible for a prize, then the next consecutive post is the winner.

The winning post number will be calculated by adding up the numbers for the first lottery prize. If the number is too big, then I'll divide it by 2 until a winning post number is found.

If it takes more than 5 words - it counts as an entry.

I am purchasing this ticket as a shared venture with a Netpond member, and half of the ticket is held in trust for this person, The purchase price has been funded by the contribution of Netpond points.

I thought this was a fun idea - it costs me a couple of dollars, and it creates the chance to give away the biggest prize ever on an adult board. Nothing would please me more than to pay out $5,000,000, because that would only be half, and I'm keeping the other half.

Well I very nearly closed it, because I didn't like the implication that I'm a scammer. Especially when I'm laying out my money for a bit of fun on Netpond.

But it works - I believe it's the number 1 info site for the UK lottery.

Craigs List isn't doing too badly either.

Of course your post counts as an entry, and so will your reply if it's more than 5 words.
