head Boy would be able to answer this one better than me, but what I have been looking for in a domain is terms that have been searched for.
Like one I snapped up Friday night: http://www.amateur-voyeur-cam.com According to overture (http://inventory.overture.com) 125 people searched for "Amateur Voyeur Cam" in August. __________________

you really have to think what you wanna make of that domain. If you're looking for typein traffic you'll look for one or two word .com domain. If you're looking for seo than it's good to have your main keyword first in your domai name (that's what I "heard" but I'm not an expert
). As Phrantik said you see how much hits are those keywords getting... |

2 word .com with no hyphens or numbers is best imo...good luck finding an unregged one word .com that's worth anything, let alone gets type-in traffic.
if you are a silver member at whois.sc, you can see the whois history which lets you make a guess at why the last person who owned your domain let it go. only $15 a month and it makes its $ back if it saves you from buying 2 shitty domains. |
