It's a company like Sedo or Domain Sponsor that puts up parking pages for you. They put up paid links for a wide range of programmes, and they try to target the surfers. They aggregate all the payments you get into one monthly cheque, and they take a commission for doing it of course.

Great article, thanks for the reference, I was actually thinking of subscribing to Business 2.0 a while ago as it was my favourite magazine in the US, but I don't like the high postage charge and subscribed to MIT's Technology Review instead

I go through so many domains in a day I often mistype some. Mostly though, they're not registered. If I do it, so do others... there has to be some money in it somewhere.

If I didn't have so many undeveloped domains already I might take a shot at it
