Using PayPal for domain payments

They don't verify payments. You get an email which really just confirm a loan against the payment. It isn't verified until 6 months later. The net is full of posts by people who have had the loan withdrawn when some outside agency has indicated to PayPal that there is a problem. The reason that they insist on phone calls is that most people don't keep a record of the discussions. If you try to use a method that creates a backup, they refuse to deal with you.

I don't know, when I pay someone with PayPal I use a credit card and they get it right away.
When someone pays me by PP I pull it from an ATM the same day..

It doesn't matter. I didn't ever leave money in PP for more than 5 minutes, and I didn't have a bank account attached, so they couldn't just pull the money back. They threatened to sue me, got their heavies to call me two or three times a day, but refused to give details or negotiate. Said they were sending someone round on a specific day. The guy didn't turn up without contacting me, and the follow up letter was posted the day before he was due to arrive.

This is the company PayPal uses to resolve issues when it thinks it might lose money - even when it's a PP extortion attempt.
