Classify your domain names
I've found that sales decisions are easier if I classify my names into 4 groups.
Core business names These are the names that are fundamental to my various businesses, and it would take a substantial offer to persuade me to sell one of them. For example - Head Boy Names with development potential Many of my names were purchased with a view to developing sites in the future. One day I hope to complete some of these projects. In the meantime, I would only sell a name if someone offered me a retail price. You should also set a lowest level retail price to suit your business. Mine is $500. Example domain - Fetish Radio Revenue domains Domains that are parked with no development plans should be producing revenue for you. Sales price calculation can be based on the current income stream and the expected future growth. Most of these are mainstream for me. My adult example - Anal Fuck Slut Wholesale domains This is really a clearance section, and will include names that aren't of great interest to you. They can be mistakes, experiments, left overs from the purchase of name collections and other such sources. Be prepared to sell these for any halfway decent offer. An experimental domain - Anjali I (redirects to Anjali Uncovered) __________________
Baronets (incorporating Domains for Porn and G8S) is the new name for my domain management services. |
