It's going to get harder to find good, cheap names

Well that sucks for a lot of people. I'm glad I have a few domains that I can work with already, I'm probably going to hang on to them now.

I had two bids for a name totally ignored. I am the only person to bid on the name, but because it is short, and a whole natural word, even though its not a .com, I imagine the owner expects it is worth thousands.

I had someone mail me and ask if I wanted a .com he owned. I offered him $250, and he countered with $25,000. I reckon it gone a bit mad at the moment. I can't decide if it's a good time to sell or not.

What makes it really nuts is when you see noisecancellingheadphones.com sold for $4,000 at sedo. 25 characters, that's crazy.

Then you look at your own names and wonder.

I know I've seen 3 very large companies scooping up every 'semi-decent' names they can get their hands on lately.

What's gonna happen is their gonna realize they can't sell for a billion and parking revenue won't cover the renewal fees. Then end up dropping all those.
