Domain names similar to paysites?
I registered a couple of names last night and am now weighing up if it was bad move.
One is the same as a paysite but is the .co.uk tld, with the .com version being the actual site. The other is a two word paysite name (same .tld) but hyphenated. I wasn't even going to build sites for these but just redirect them to the paysite with my id. Would the sponsor be pissed with this and possibly boot me from their program or is it fair use? I see hundreds of sites with sponsorname + a suffix.com, so wondering where the line is, if indeed there is one? |

As has already been stated, check with the sponsor, and if he doesn't like you owning the name, then just give it to him. Also you should only promote sites owned by that sponsor on the domain. Remember that you are trading off his work, and it's a privilege and not a right for you to use the name. __________________

I always ask due to trademark issues. I have an email in with one program owner right now about a site I want to do and it would utilize their program name.
