do you care about squidguard porn filter? and spam filter?

Hey, when you are buying a domain, do you care about a blacklisting in the squidguard list? I mean, it is difficult to avoid a listing there at all, so would you mind, if the domain you have an eye on to buy is listed already? I'm not so sure, like said, if it's a successful domain, it would be listed at some time in the future anyway for sure... What do you think guys? Shall I not even think a moment about this and just don't care about it, or is it a serious problem? I mean, it's not a spamlist, it's a porn blacklist filter... spamlisting is a big no-no (or isn't it? I avoided spam listed domains always, you too?)

Squidguard sounds like a nice link dump. I reckon it could be an advantage to be listed there and maybe we should use it as a traffic generation tool.

But I didn't read much on the site.

Most of those spam lists are a waste of space as they don't seem to know how to trace the source of spam mail. I've got loads of domains listed that don't have mail boxes, and haven't been used to send or receive a single mail item in up to 4 years of my ownership.

hm, thanks Head Boy, that's how I tend to think too, spam listings well, not really good, but porn listings, I mean it just tells, that it's porn and hey, that's what people find there, so it's good that they know it maybe, I don't know if Squidguard is used much, but it has a wikipedia entry even
