Well. They totally suck I can say that. They have even problems with dns renewals.... actually with everything.

Their good sides? I have still over 10 hours left to buy $0.75 info domains

Also .com and .net 's are very cheap too. I think you can get .net for $2.99 right now.

And it's not like it is a promo too... I mean, they seem to do it like every friday or something.

I'm afraid to buy a domain for something big from there though. Who knows what may happen.

If they are selling .coms for $2.99, then they are losing around $3.50 on each one. They're going to have to pull that back somehow.

A registrar is losing money by selling registrations at under $6.50. and a reseller with a good deal will be losing at under $6.95. You should also add a bit to cover profits and business investments. There always seem to be problems when people undercut those prices. Interestingly though, you often seem to start getting problems when people charge over $10 for a .com registration year.

If you're using domains as traffic pumps or for SE spamming, then maybe go for a cheap one year option, but if you want to keep your name, it's better to pay a couple of dollars more.

I hate them but I got myself some good .net domains at $2.99

I had 1 domain in my account with them till now which was a domain that I bought from another Ponder, I must say I haven't had any problems with the renewal or anything

It takes them ages to register a domain or apply the WHOIS protection though and they send tons of mails

I guess the secret at RF is to know more than the support staff which
isn't hard..I've had a few probs there myself but always straighten them out..

I had a dozen domains with them and they consistently double charged me on renewals, so I moved them all out. If you have so many domains with them I'd double check just how much they really are charging you for those domains

I do and they charge me the right price..
As far as renewing them I transfer them to GoDaddy or
Netsol before they need renewing, that or sell them.

And there's no trouble transfering them, I sold a couple to someone
on this board the other day.
As long as you can tell support how to do things you're OK..
