Hi,

I also fell asleep before the end of the bid lol...Anyway I was pm'd 3 final offers before the time expired all 3 offers were at $350 so I am in the difficult situation here. All I can do is run the bid for until this evening until 8pm GMT +1 hour since most of you are on that time zone.

So auction ends 8pm GMT +1

To be honest I think that is taking the piss a little and milking this a little too far but that is just my opinion. Who was the first PM in at that price, that should be the winning bid. You can't say it closes and then think hey I changed my mind.

I think it would be fairer for all concerned to accept the first bid in at $350 as if this was ebay or any other auction that is how it would have been decided.

If the bids had not been PM bids then the 2nd and 3rd would have known that their bid was not high enough... You should at least name the three highest bidders unless they have specifically said not to or else how do we know this is not a scam just to milk this domain name more??

Just a suggestion - Why not have a closed envelope bid and ask for copies to be sent to the Mod GTP Dave? You could still say it has to be in by 8.00pm GMT. Anyone interested is allowed just ONE bid, make it their highest and send to yourself and GTP Dave (assuming he is willing as a witness). To ensure less likelihood of a joint bid stipulate that it has to be a bid ending in any number apart from '0' so $349 or $341 etc

You cannot run a fair auction system through a forum, it needs to be one off highest bid or a proper auction or it can go on forever making it unfair.
