I used to frequent contest sites, not so much any more though. I really like the check box you have set up for surfing convenience, as most other sites just have link list type setup with just a few links per page spread out over many pages, of course this gives them more ad placement opportunties.

I think it would also be important to have them listed, if possible in order of ending date or prize value so surfer could hit the best ones if short on time and a newly listed page or at least label them as such. Adding a free stuff page would be popular as well. Of course an e-mail collection box is a must have to send surfers the latest and best sweeps, news, and your affiiate ads and offers.

Another possibility would be to niche them out according to prize type such as cash, cars, vacations etc. On these pages you could target sponsors such as being affiliates for car supplies, or travel boxes for travelocity and the like. Also, I've seen survey sponsor programs and the like which provide banners.

Once you get started entering them, as you know they can be addictive. Damn, now you may have gotten me started again. Good luck with your new venture and have fun with it.

I have been to a lot of contest sites over the years, I really like the check box thing, I am going to go with roboform as the main sponsor and google prob. I like a clean and easy site when it comes to mainstream, but havent dont main stream in a long time, the main stream I did do was niche specific and was on and off the web, this is strickly on the web, so its a whole new ballgame. Believe it or not I am actually running a tgp script to run the site.. LOL.. But for some reason it wont let me make the discriptions longer. I have changed it in the script a bunch of times, and it still isnt likeing me, I may pull that out of the script all together and see what happens..

looks very nice. You might want to add some google adsense banners also to it to give ya extra revenue. You can do like a links banner above or right below the title. Then some banners on the bottom.
