Mainstream Traffic Scripts?

I am kicking around the idea of doing a mainstream traffic site. I have been doing traffic sites on the other side for many moons now, and have always used cgi scripts. I'm thinking for this new project to go with php though.

Does anyone have any ideas about decent scripts for this new project? I'm open to a straight links script, or topsite type...I haven't decided which way I want to go with this project yet.

If you have tried, or are using a script you like, please let me know what one so I can check it out please, and post a link to the site you are running it on, or PM it to me so I can see it in action.

I don't get it... why can't you use the same script you use for an adult site on a mainstream site?

I could use the same scripts on mainstream that I use on my adult sites...if I wanted to use cgi scripts.

Maybe I didn't explain it right. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with link scripts, or toplist scripts written in php, and could suggest any.
