Specific or General - Looking for Advice
I'm trying to work out a way to promote a bunch of affiliate programs related to TV licensed stuff - you know, 24 mugs and Gilmore Girls watches.
I started to put together basically a blog about TV with these links in the sidebars, etc but it got fussy very quickly. I began to wonder if I was better off keeping the niche very refinded - a blog about only Gilmore Girls or mid range - a blog about all CW TV shows, or general, all TV. Specific seems better for SEO and targeted buyers but it also seems quite limiting. Thoughts? |

I would go both ways, with general blog and then with specific blogs but with higher emphasis on specific and well targeted blogs...

I would go with specific blogs as well, or you could group by genre. Also, doing a CW blog is a good idea since if viewers are watching one CW show they are probably watching others -- and they all hit the same demo. There are lots of hardcore CW fans out there too.
With multiple blogs you can do all kinds of interlinking too. __________________
