adwords and adsense

i have a site with adsense on that i'm using adwords to advertise.

i chose to do so because the per click value on the site is pretty good, and so is the ratio.

while i was sending traffic from google adwords, i noticed the cost per adsense click on the site dropped to single cents, and the day after i stopped adwords traffic, cp-adsense-c rose to what it was before.

is this common? does google have to check you out before it settles down? any other similar experiences?

I just know that there were people who promoted their adsense loaded sites through adwords and were earning more then spending ( usually playing with keywords ).They were pushing lots of money that way, so google is cautios about that now

hmmm not sure, maybe google is getting more picky about the content of a page that has adsense and is using adwords, i know theres tons of people that were doing this awhile back and still some do it now, i'm trying it out alittle but i'm using the smaller ppc search engines to get the traffic to my sites with adsense

The arbitrage battle is being won by the SE's. What you have experienced is just one of the ways G is controlling it. The kind of thing you're doing ruins the marketplace for honest advertisers. It won't "settle down" and will most likely get worse as G learns your habits.
