I thought you might like to take a look at http://totallyexplained.com - a new online encyclopedia with 4 million articles. Unlike other encyclopedias Totally Explained welcomes external links.

In fact, just find any article related to your site, copy the code at the bottom of the page onto one of your web pages and then click the link and your link back will ALREADY be there when you arrive at the article because we'll already have spidered your page, detected the link, extracted your page title and added it!

As long as your link stays so does our link back to you. All we require is that you stay on topic using relevant sites for each article and no adult links.

Totally Explained already has a bunch of PR 5 sites feeding it and while traffic is yet to build to high levels, get your links in place for the PR it will give you even before the traffic.

Thanks, you found a bug (now fixed). MySQL didn't like the ' in your title - it allows them now though.

And yes, as long as the link text will refer to the article title that's fine. I just have the standard link there for newbie webmasters to copy & paste

yeah my blog software has the same type of issue with ampersands

Every time one of my writers uses the ampersand, it gives an "improperly formed"
error in the XML feed

No - the article name link keywords are the important thing. The html we provide is for newbie webmasters. So go ahead and modify it.

Yes it is PR 0 right now because it is new. However, as I write there are 376,000 entries at Google:

There are also in excess of 3,000 inbound links from around the web. I think you'll find the next update will show an excellent PR and any sites linked to by us will also benefit.

When the 'pedia do their next dump sometime in the next week or two (I hope) we'll grab it and all the new articles too.
