People will do everything to get visitors to get money to make sales.

They will even go for one of the worst type of things.

What they do is

They spread rumours. As if they are true.

Say a big celebrity whom we all love.

Say my favourite is Aishwaria Rai. your is Britney Spears
They will post a news in social bookmark and entertainment general forums

then when you click.

You go to a cheap blog or free blog or a info domain.

and you see they provide a rumour or nearly false news.

for example for the google might close they say as the new social bookmarking sites are evolving and people coming to see fresh new sites everyday. Instead of same top 500 site that is there for ages in google. its time to say bye bye to google policy. They make rich peoples more rich. They are enemy of new or fresh sites. They hide 80% of new web from people. Thats how they make money with adwords. new search engines are coming which will not only show new sites you will be able to search by month or year it was listed. What happend exactly on 7 th march 2006 you can get to know easily. What new sites where listed on 7 th of current month based on topic you can find easily. THis will have users vote and users will determine who will go up who will go down. Imagine a scammer website is highly ranked in google for the backlinks they have or how good seo they have done. But the product has no value to people. Its almost nearly as good as scam. This will not happen ever again with new search engines. people will vote. Not robots.


For britney they will show a rumour published in a cheap magazine or online source and quote that. and write at the end. But I have doubt if this news is true. It might be a rumour but for the time being its a hot news.




it was just another case study.

people also waits for the big newses to happen. or looks for the best things on internet. and try to combine those in their web or blog. and post on social sites early before anyone else.

meh it's no big deal happens all the time.
Getting the surfers there is all that matters. I think it's more like thinking out side the box. You need a line or gimmick to make people go to your site over the other guys.
It's like a company discounting it's service for the first few months just to try to get you to signup with them over a competitor.
