I am a bit concerned with the amount of comments I receive where people copy a part of my post on their blog and link back to that post. When I did check their entire blog it seems like they do that with all sites, no original post at all and full of ads. Can this be really good for me and is there a term out there they use for sites like those?

If they copy only part of your post and link to you so that people need to click through to your site then it could be good. If your site is interesting then I'm sure people will stay with your site. If the traffic to the other blog is search engine traffic then they were looking specifically for something that you post helped them with so they'd probably stick with your site instead of the other one.

So what you're basically telling me is that those so called blogs are basically "splogs" as they are taking content from different blogs and linking back to who's ever content they have copied?

Sounds like the perfect way to ride on another blogs sucess without doing any of the work.

these are called scraper sites. they scrape results from search engines.. and link to original source. after that such sites are linkspammed everywhere.

Splogs, or scraper sites as erots pointed out, came from mainstream. Though not necessarily using blogging type CMS tools it produces the same end result as far as presentation.

You'll have to brainstorm a new idea Nicky, that ones already taken.

Sound like shit, i saw one guy taking my page and putting on his blog post zone, yes there are all my codes and text, but he wants SE traffic and he don't care for few clicks on my links, he have banners and other shit he promote...
