google traffic question

Hey, I have a site that were making myspace layouts and such for users... thats not the point, what my question is, is one days i make a ton of layouts and do work on the site i get between 150-212 unique visitors a day, on days that i dont make anything i get around 20 visitors... i dont think im on the top 100 pages for google so idk how they are finding my site, but do you know why there would be such a difference in the view from not updating for one day?

maybe it's a blog and posts get autopinged, autocrawled and so on ?

No its not a blog, its a dynamic web page. Can i ping regular web pages? and what does pinging do lol??

It shouldn't fluctuate like that. Are you doing any other promotion of it besides putting out new layouts?

I have a sorta blog on the homepage that i put target keywords into posts... and link trading but yea when i don't ad new layouts it gets like no hits...

That is still pretty odd, I don't think new posts would make it fluctuate that much...
