The second banner to turn up was offering to sell adspace on my site, that's not what I had in mind when I signed up to exchange banners so I think I'll have to pass, sorry.

The offending banner has been removed, it was another members referal banner to join the exchange. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I join DH in surprise. Is it really worth it? How much traffic can those banners get a site anymore? There are other site promotion techniques that seem to be much more effective. I don't mean to put down the effort or anything, just surprising to see in 2008 for sure.
