Hardlinks vary on so many factors theres no general price. I have one site I sell a link/banner for $250 a month without a problem, other sites it will be $40 a month.

Some people will sell a link for $10.

The price you pay depends on the quality or the link, the traffic it will receive, the potential return you can get and so on.

Buying traffic again ranges, depending of the type of traffic you want. It starts at around $2 per k of traffic and goes up to around $5 per k

Buying traffic generally only works if you buy lots of it, but it depends on the type of site you are promoting and the type of traffic you are buying. Generally targetted traffic is better than just general niche traffic.

You can sell hardlinks from 1$ to 100$ a month, but all is in:

PR, traffic, niche, and stuff like that

There's a few hardlink on Google.com that I don't mind paying a few thousand for.

Ok seriously, since you're in the mainstream forum I guess the hardlink depends also on the niche & PR besides traffic.

I've sold a few links on a site that doesn't get much traffic at all.

A hardlink can be for a month, three months, 6 months or a year in general.

On a decent mainstream site permanent links are generally expensive, you are looking at $200+.

You are better of going for a hardlink for a year, as these are generally reasonable.

Each site has a different value, so its impossible to give you a figure, only rough estimates.

It's difficult to price a permanent link because no links are permanents. It's just an unknow period link.
