I have been floating around the pond for a few months now, have had alot of fun, learned alot, and meet alot of great people.

I thought I wanted my own business, since I have been in business for many years, I thought I wanted to build another business.

A little background I dont need a second income or even a first income for that matter, I sold my company and made a large income for myself for my retirement, I will be 40 next week. I worked like a dog for many years nights and days weekends, never had time for a social life, was woken up by mother many times after I had fallen a sleep at the desk from working 22 or 23 hours straight, business is alot of work. Later on I was able to relax do more social things, drive nice cars, live in a beautiful home, have two adorable children.

I know one thing work, work and more work. So I figured that the adult industry would be a breeze to start a business in, it is easy to set up and say you are in business, as I did.

Long story short I wanted a hobby not a JOB, I wanted something to fill my time up where the business is gone from, I find this exciting fun and entertaining to a point, call me sick if you must, but I do enjoy it.

So the other day I was reading a thread basically talking about being an owner versus being an employee, it made me do some real thinking. What is it I really wanted from this adventure. I really didnt want to have a business with all the deadlines and pressures, I was starting to feel very rushed trying to make sure I got everything done everyday to build my business. So I put alot of thought into it. Slept on it, talked to freinds and business people about it. I made a decision that changed how I do this

I wanted a HOBBY, yeah I know it sounds crazy but basically I was looking for a hobby that made me a few extra bucks here and there. Now I find that I dont put any time pressures on myself, I dont have to do anything today to build my stuff, I dont need to meet a deadline on when I get a project done, but I also found by simply saying this is a hobby and not a business I no longer have the pressures on myself to work to build my empire, but actually by saying it is a hobby I am getting more done every day then I did before, I have one task I try to do everyday and have been doing it with pleasure. I build and submit to my PA accounts, once thats done I find something that is enjoyable for the day and work on it, I have completed more work in a week then I did when I was trying to build a business in a month. I do not sweat over every detail. I dont finish a gallery build today thats fine I can finish it tomorrow ( I normally go ahead and finish up what I was doing) So what am I saying.

If you find that you feel all the pressure and stress of trying to build a business from the ground up overwhelming, well you had dinner last night didnt you, step back and look and see if it isnt a profitable hobby you really want.

I know for me by simply changing how I look at what am doing has removed all teh stress and pressure, Dont get me wrong I may have to turn it in to a business one day but for now it is a hobby I enjoy that turns a profit, and in teh end I will probably make more money since there is no stress or pressure.

IF you need the money to pay the gas bill, unless you are already turning a nice profit and getting checks every month I suggest getting a second job until you are more secure. Sorry the hard school of street business says when you start with money problems you will fail the stress will over come the business, (there are exceptions just like any rule) but for the most part I found this to be true.

Hobby and Job is something that split my way! My love is to make games,programs... but i don't have skill and i am not two much good at learning part , but i mixed all i learned doind HTML & FP like Hooby in today JOB with FS,Gall's,Mainstream sites...

So you probably need to enjoy working sometimes!

If so I guess you need urgently a Hobby consultant (there might be more interesting Hobbys out there)
