A while back PULSHER started a project for people wanting to get into the ringtones business ... but he appears to have abandoned it.

Not wanting to steal his thunder, and giving him ample time to continue, I am now going to pick up from where he left off.

Anybody who does not know me, I am a long time netpond member, one of 2 captains in BETA BRIGADE, and I am also an affiliate manager with Mediaplazza Ameriques in Montreal, Canada, and have been with MP for over 2 years.

I am going to offer as much assistance as you need to get your mobile phone content business off the ground and MAKING YOU MONEY !!!!

Mobile phone content is everywhere, but with more people owning mobile phones than ANY OTHER DEVICE, I am here to tell you that the market is NOWHERE NEAR SATURATED !!! This statement is as absurd as saying that the hamburger market is saturated, or the coffeeshop market is saturated ..

There is ample room for everybody who wants to make money with cellphone-related products, and very decent money too!

Now the only question really you need to ask yourself is "HOW FAR DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE DO YOU WANT TO GO??"

Since I plan on putting alot of time into this project, I am going to stipulate that you sign up under my tracking. 3. a small virtual hosting package (I offer plans starting at $5 per month if you need cheap/reliable hosting with control panel,FTP and email)

4. a desire and the discipline to build a decent income from the ground up - THIS IS NOT A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME, and if you are looking for a way to pay next month's rent, this is not that either, but with the proper guidence, training, motivation, and preserverance, it is possible to build a very good RESIDUAL INCOME. (for anybody not familiar with residual incomes, they are income streams that keep coming without having to do any additional work.)

In approximately 10-12 weeks time, each person who participates in this is going to have a small network of cellphone-related sites that will each be making you money ... the amount each one is going to make you, will be up to you.

One last bit of food for thought ...
In 1999, the number of mobiles shipped worldwide was 55 million ... in 2004 that figure was approximately 254 million ... by 2008 that number is forcasted to be more than 794 million phones worldwide per year !!! That's an aweful lot of potential clients ...

No other device in history has had as much market penetration as the cell phone, and I'm gonna ride that all the way to the bank!

Any kind of ETA on when MP will be offering services for Verizon customers?
Is there a way to choose only the content we want to offer (for example, the "crazy" ringtones) and not the rest of the entire kit and caboodle?

Chances are we may never offer services to Verizon customers ... that is entirely up to verizon. Thus far they seem to think by holding a monopoly on thier mobile content, they are protecting their market ... little do they realize that many verizen clients simply will switch carriers to get cheaper Wallpapers, Ringtones, and Java Games for their phones.

Mediaplazza pays telcos a commission on the ringtones it delivers to that telco's subscriber base. Like alot of the decisions that were made in the US regarding cellular phone technology, Verizon goofed in thinking that they could even begin to compete with Mediaplazza's market penetration, and because of it, their clients are stuck paying up to $12 per java game with maybe only a couple dozen at best to choose from ...

I could go on and on and on about this subject, but I will not bore you. The short answer is Verizon made a poor business decision that backfired on them.

As far as promoting only the products you wish, this is extremely possible!
Mediaplazza gives you a full arsenal of sales aids, complete PHP and ASP kits, mini sites, XML feeds, mailers, and content generators that allow you to choose which content you want in I-framed, dynamically updated boxes such as those found at the bottom of www.mobile-abina.com

To be perfectly honest with you, I have never seen a sponsor give more tools to their affiliates. Why so many people signed up with me more than a year ago and did NOTHING with it, is beyond my comprehension.

It was my initial amazement with just how far this company was willing to go to help it's affiliates back when I first signed up to promote them, that made me decide this was a company I wanted to be a part of ..

I think it's because most webmasters are lazy by nature and don't want to wait for months before seing their work paying off. If you give them something were they see result quickly (i.e. less than one week) and it's easy work (i.e. such as copy and paste stuff), they may may be willing to stick with the program

Btw are you from Montreal? If so, I hope to meet you at Qwebec expo or the other webmasters get-together in Mtl.

how much time is expected to invest in these project daily ? i already have othe rprjocts that im working and dont wanna star something that i wont finish, i have 2 daily hours free to work for another project so if this time is ok count me in.

Yeah I think you will be able to do it in 2 hours daily ... maybe less. Alot depends on how much you can actually get done in two hours, or do you spend alot of it reading GFY, Netpond, CNN, surfing around abit ... chatting on ICQ ??

I take about 5 hours a day to update ALL my sites, mainstream and adult .. but during those 5 hours my distractions are at a very bare minimum ... I'm WORKING!

ill be damned if i can get hold of the xml thingy

i just need a site that updates every day with the new content for a specific country
the php sites just have too mutch stuff crammed in and the wrong pages get spidered
100% my country no other options

the xml looked like the right direction to go but i just don't get it
maybe a sort of wysiwyg editeur would be good and i hate the idea of that sort of tool
or some sort of choose country choose content copy and paste

i whaped up 2 or 3 php sites and they didn't go far and in the stats most of the traffic is from the USA yet it was set up for a specific country

another one is the $sVHost what the hell is suposed to go there in simple english

in the php config it says subdomain but on site there is nothing that clearly says what my subdomain is + the fact i have 2 user names under one account

don't get me wrong there are some realy nice tools but maybe a little confusing
im not trying to hit you or the program i think there is great potential
but these are a few things that made me stop pushing
and as everyone knows comback is an inportant facter in making things better

Not to get to far ahead, but part of this project was going to be building additional sites on subdomains of the original domain.

For this project, it would probably work best if you purchase a domain specifically for use with the project.

I am not a mind reader, so you have to actually tell me you need help - this is why I am here!

Let me ask you one simple question ... Mediaplazza sells to 68 countries, why are you going to limit your sales to only ONE country? I do not think this is a very good business plan ... the reason why we have flags to all the different countries on our sites, is because we are so diversified ... I am not going to turn down a sale from Austria, because I live in Canada ...

i didn't find my subdomain there it just says use my subdomain
but as i said login is my e-mail then i have two user names in there and one is azrael so whats the subdomain there is nothing that clearly states what my subdomain is maybe it should just show up under the username ?

Its the same with most surfers how many just close the window because they can't be bothered if its not simply outlayed and they can't find a button to click
if there is one thing i don't like its being a pain in the ****
i would rather pull along myself and if it doesn't work i will try something else

i was using my French isp's free hosting i also get listed in thier Directory ect
and normaly the majority of trafic would have been French
the French market is also on a nice uprise in the last few years and was thinking it would probably be a good starting point

i was not limiting myself just being more to the point
more sites would have followed the network and for other countries


as i said Mediaplazza is a great Ringtone site and there is a great choise for the surfers
its just some little things i caught as i went through promoting them
