link from main to I-frame
Hi buddies
I have several problem putting some links in one main page. I want to show a main page with external htmls visualized into ****** on the center of the screen. http://www.thinkelephant.com/portfol.../indexbio.html What I can't get is ... I don't know how to put my links from the main menu, to see the external htmls into i-frame without a complete reload. just the i-frame I hope a hand from us! grettings Xavier |

Just use the 'target' attribute on your links to the name of the i.frame.

I couldn't find the name of my I-frame in the propeties, I just saw _blank, _top , etc...
I must add that by hand into code? I never work with frames. So I am a newbie. Many thanks for your help Blinky Xavier |

You are right, you must add the frame name by hand.
Add this tag into your frame html NAME="frame name here" and then use the 'target' attribute on your links to the name of the frame. target="frame name" __________________
