Traffic ... how to get first flow of traffic to your site?

Can someone share some ideas or something that works? I'm looking for something that would be like linkdumps or TGPs in adult - submit your site and get some traffic ...

any ideas are welcome...

Maybe submitting to a few linkdumps... buying some feeder traffic...

SE submissions don't seems to me like a fast first flow of traffic ... it often takes some time to get traffic from SE ...
I thought on fast first flow of traffic ... in first few days ...

Do a search for FFA (free for all) - I belive that came before linkdumps and its mostly used for mainstream.

As for how to get a site started; trade links! Easy, free and if you trade hardlinks it will be SE candy as well.

About FFA, I heard they are not so good and that most of them don't produce much traffic ... can you suggest me some good ones?

The traffic here can be insane, thats what i heard, i never really tried since i watch the quality of my traffic really closely.
I am not saying their traffic is not good.
What i mean is that i heard the traffic is very high and so i compare it to hun's heavy traffic with low results.
Check it out, you might like what u get.

As far as making money from digg etc goes, the traffic sucks majorly.

Do a search on some big mainstream boards, there's stories of insane traffic and zero click on adsesnse etc. The people who browse these very techie sites all know to avoid the ads.

i thought he asked for traffic not adsense clicks.
That was why i explained that the traffic is big but might not be productive.
I really havent used them myself but i plan to for other things.
I am sure there is a way to make use of all that traffic.
Just go for it first and if you dont like it ...... It was just traffic that sucked, nothing more.

Personally I never look for fast traffic most of my sites take 1-2 years to really kick in.

if you wanna get fast traffic , the best way is to advertise at google adword or yahoo or some big ppc search engine like 7search ....But before buying traffic with google adword you should research carefully or you can lose .
