Should I just put adsense on it, and buy traffic from adwords, and crossmy fingers and hope for the best?

People out there say theyre making so much money, so I want to learn how.

Buying traffic from Google will kill you... better to get free traffic from well optimized website with original content.

Here is my thought on this ...
You need to decide by yourself what you want to do, do you want to run site for adsense or you want to promote certain affiliate programs that offer money advice/dept consolidation services ...
You need to weight how much you can make with adsense and how much you can make with affiliate programs ...
If you choose affiliate programs, in that case I would drop adsense from my site beacuse adsense could be the big traffic leak unless you manage to get high paying ads on your site ...

I think they said it takes a day or 2 for Google to crawl my site and create relevant ads, so Ill wait another day before I ask them.

The name of the site is first person. I think its eye catching. If someone sees a bunch of money domains and they see that they may click it.

First of all, try to center that Adsense ad on the page ... it would look more professional ...

Second, as I said earlier, try to look for some affiliate programs that would suit your site ... don't know, dept consolidation services, mortgage companies and similar ... if you only put their banners on your site, it could make you some money ...

see my post above... you need original content and not just ripped copyrightfree articles from articlecity or similiar. Your traffic will be stagnant and very low on the se results unless you can deliver something fresh to the robot.

I would suggest you concentrate on a subject that you are familiar about... have any hobbies?

Because to be honest Im not great at anything, but I dont want that to stop me from making money in mainstream.

But whats the difference between article city and other free places? Its still free, right?

I dont have expertise on debt consolidation, but I dont have expertise on Indian women, lesbian girls, black gay men, or gangbangs but I manage to sell all those :-)

You don't have to be an expert but it easier for you that way ... if you make a site about something that you like, it's easier for you to manage that site and write for it beacuse it's subject that you like and have interest in ... and unique content will make your site more successful ... that was our point ...

I know that is much easier for you to copy&paste content from those article directory sites but that doesn't make unique content for you, your surfers could already see that article and also, SE spiders don't like duplicate content either ...

Buying traffic from google and hoping that traffic will make money through adsense doesn't sound workable.

Try to submit to links list. Tried dmoz yet? It takes a long time but it's worth a shot...

No but you need to have a good idea of it to produce content, and content brings in traffic and traffic makes you $$$$. The first thing you need to ask yourself before making any site is " where am I going to get links from ?" Once you know that you can nearly work out what terms you will have a chance of getting in search engines, compared to the linkage, ranking of competing sites. With this ineedmoneyrightnow.com I would be changing the title too, plonk a keyword in there for the engines. ( I need money now - Fast online loans. ) or something. I would make the site at least 5 pages, and run other AD's as well as AdSense.

Loans is one of the hardest traffic areas online, thats why it pays so well Buying traffic will be very expensive, what ever you spend make sure you can afford to lose it.

Well, that idea from BaldBastard make me thinking ... because he's right ... it would be much better for you to work with microniches ... and if you can, to choose one with less competition and higher demand ...
That idea of "white picket fences" can guide you to find microniche for yourself ...

I like to build a site and leave it a couple of months before I put Ad's on it. I make a banner for where my adsense will eventually go. fencepicturedotcom

Everyone has a skill, hidden talent, or first hand detailed knowledge about something. Trust me, you do, everyone does. It doesn't need to be anything special.

baldbastard's url should give you a good starting example. (www[dot]fencepicture.com) Look at his source code and pay close attention to the meta title and description, and the first 300 words or so of content.

The subject/topic really doesn't matter as long as you are familiar with it.

How to make jams and jellies. How to install a doorbell and where to get the materials. How to make scented candles on your kitchen table, and where to get materials. How to keep your 10-speed in tip-top shape.

You get the idea. Use any topic you have some first hand knowledge of. Even if you think it's something obscure and not important use it. I'm sure no matter what it is there are 100s/1000s of people online right now searching for it.

While you're writing, if you come across a word you're not sure you've spelled correctly, don't change it. If you mispelled it so will many surfers when they type it in the search box. You can spell it correctly in the next sentence/paragraph.

I could go on and on but this is plenty for now! And Good Luck in the mainstream world.

I've been doing mainstream since 2000 and started adult 9 months ago as a 'fact finding' mission. Now, doing adult sites has become my newest bad habit!
