Launching a new service -- Blogsvertise

Hi Everyone!

We just launched www.blogsvertise.com, which is a way for bloggers to make money for posting on their blogs. We have many clients looking to get embedded text links to their sites, and so Blogsvertise will pay you to post entries on your personal blog including links to our SEO clients.

You're not going to get rich, but you may make enough for a night out or some new clothes/music/etc. The only catch is that we're paying by paypal and can't accept adult blogs right now. :-(

It launched today, we should be assigning tasks within the next few days. Thanks for signing up, Jamdin. Is your journal crawled by the search engines? I had a heck of a time getting my LJ listed.

On Paypal: The way I understand it is that paypal doesn't allow adult-related transactions, so paying for entries on an adult-oriented blog could get us booted. Maybe we will be able to include adult material once the service has been established for awhile. If that happens, Netpond will most certainly be the first to know!

Jamdin, I just noticed that you signed up and completed a task for Blogsvertise. How did you like the system? Was it easy enough to use?

We're getting ready to start promoting it heavily o advertisers now that we have a good base of blogs registered, and I want to make sure our bloggers are comfortable with the service!

The registration is easy to do. But your request for 50-60 words per post seems to be hard for me to do on a how-to oriented blog. I'll look into this later on when I have more experience. I'll stick with making content right now. But this is surely interesting and I will register eventually.

What would you all recommend as an alternative to paypal? We would love to be able to include adult and also to pay bloggers in countries that don't accept paypal. Let me know what other similar service we could use to pay our bloggers and we will definitely look into it.

This is a pretty sweet idea! I'm definitely going to give this a go soon as I have a bit of free time on the side. I'll be signing up probably tommorow night or something.

You could always use epassporte...if you don't want to use paypal.
