Text Ads | Image Ads | Video Ads | Link Units | Referral Buttons | Themed Units did anybody do some testing how the different ad formats perform? specialy how the image and video ads are doing? |

Very unscientifically, and with only a few dozen clicks to compare, I can tentatively report that the 728x90 graphic banners generate 1/4 the clicks of a text ad the same size. The reason seems to be that usually you get the public service ads like Hurricane Relief, because most advertisers use text ads.
I have replace all my graphic ads today and I saw a 4-fold increase in clicks from the same spots. I'll let you know if it was a fluke and doesn't stay the same way. |
